Registration will close April 30th at 11:59PM. Registration officially opens on March 22nd at 12:01AM. You will have the ability to log your miles, track your progress, collect a few virtual badges, and check the leader board daily! Invite your friends/family to this challenge to stay motivated/active all spring long! The challenge starts April 1st and ends May 30th (60 day challenge).Įxplore some of the West Virginia's Coal Heritage Trail! Start/finish at the Beckley Coal Mine Exhibition and virtually make your way to Thurmond, Fayetteville, Hawks Nest, and then south all the way to Coalwood!Įxplore the beautiful southern parts of West Virginia - including Hawks Nest, Beckley, Coalwoad, Bluefield, Lewisburg, Richwood, and Summersville! Your virtual journey will start/finish at Hawks Nest State Park! Take on our WVStrong Spring Challenge to stay motivated with your running and walking! This challenge is FREE for anyone to complete! We will be collecting donations for The Putnam County Animal Shelter (to be used for spay/neuter, food, vaccines and other necessities) and optional swag will be for sale.
